I have tried to get into Kingmaker but I just struggle, the characters are fairly uninteresting and I remember there being quite a lot of trash fights, which BG3 feels like it lacks. Every time I get into a fight in BG3, it feels important. Only when I went back to the goblin camp to kill the stragglers did I start just throwing out basic attacks to roll through small guard patrols.
