I mean, explaining the joke will not make it funny but you can see that it's all absurd (probably). There's no "industrial grade calcium", neither is there "intelligent calcium" yet they treat it like it's a thing and they're actually preforming real experiments on it. The molecular structure shown in the show makes 0 sense, wtf do you mean "if you see the double helix note it down"?????? 95% of it doesn't make sense but they do sprinkle in some stuff that's true too so it's even funnier because for example I have looked up "calcium lens" and they do exist, well calcium-fluoride lens to be exact.
