Well, what you're doing with downloaders is basically: download video (in your browser it would be wait till it buffers fully), skip to next video/image, which is very unnatural because normal users else skip before the video loads fully or there's a significant delay after loading before they skip to next one. I bet that's how they actually recognize it because everything else can be emulated with requests in software.
