The original Avatar is a really really good show. The Legend of Korra is a really really mid show. I stopped watching after season 1, which butchered the main villain, forced a boring love triangle and had no likable main characters. Completely the opposite of the original.

Korra has ONE thing going for it. Korra is pretty cute.

The thing is, here councillors get paid pretty badly. They make like 60% of minimum wage working full time. Granted, they likely don't work full time, but still.

Knew a girl who's mother was on the council, saw her house, it was massive, gave me a big think on how they afforded it all. The answer was inherited wealth, that's just the answer.
