$2.1 BILLION FOR PATRIOT MISSILES. WHO REALLY BENEFITS?
On 30 October 2026, the US State Department approved a proposed sale of 500 Patriot PAC-3 MSE interceptors to Ukraine.
Principal contractor: LOCKHEED MARTIN (NYSE: LMT).
Let's follow the money.
WHO PAYS?
Canada, Germany and Norway are financing the purchase through the US JUMPSTART programme, alongside Ukrainian funding supported by an EU-backed loan.
No US government funding is involved in this particular purchase.
The US Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) administers the Foreign Military Sales arrangements. Foreign governments contribute funding which is used to purchase American military equipment.
European taxpayers are therefore helping finance contracts for American weapons manufacturers.
