So much is against us. Money. Power. Press. All the material powers are against us. To stand against such a thing requires courage, heroism this age has never known. If we are to stand true, if we are to fight this coming night then we must steel our spirit not merely to face this but to face ourselves. To break the chains that bind us to our own sorrows so that hope can rise again in our hearts, so that those who would call us brother, father, their love, know we will not buckle nor bend, that we stand true at their backs, unyielding in the face of an uncertain tomorrow. Now, more than ever, are Men of strength needed. Now more than ever are those with Wills unbroken, with the bravery to dream are needed. You are needed. So stand not simply for your people, not simply for your blood but yourself as well. A cracked bulwark is of little protection for it's flaws can be exploited. But an unbroken wall of Faith, of Resolution, of Will, that cannot be broken. It holds against the tide, it turns the blades struck against it, it holds firm against all the blows upon it. You and I are that bulwark. We are that wall upon which the tides of this age crash against, we are those who stand defiant against the coming night. All around us things fall to ruin, all around us is fear of tomorrow and what it brings. It is to us that those we care for will look to, it is to us those lost in the shadows will flock to, will we be found wanting, will we be found weakened, will we be found flawed and broken? No I say, no we will not, we cannot be. We each stand for our own reasons, each of us stand for Christ, for Woden, for the Men who inspired us, for our families, for our dreams of a better tomorrow, mayhaps a mix of all these things. But such a stand, such a defiance will only be as strong as ourselves. The Will within us must endure and only by facing our own darkness can such a strength be found. By an act of Will shall we be made whole. By an act of Will shall we find ourselves again and earn the right to stand at each others side, unbroken and unyielding. By an act of Will will tomorrow be made in the image of hope and our dreams made manifest. I ask you not to stand for me. Not merely to stand for those who inspire you. I ask you to stand for you. So that the ideals you hold can be bought forward, so that together we can forge a tomorrow worthy of our people. So that the dream of peace, of freedom, can be ours once more.
