I have almost no personal experience. I bought salvia once, managed an interesting trip but decided it wasn't actually life changing aside from helping me understand dreaming of things that aren't while I'm awake isn't the benefit I'd heard some make it out to be.
I took a shot of THC once. I have no idea what the perceived benefit is supposed to be; I found nothing desirable in that experience.
