>if he tried for a cartoony crayon style like how the Celestia looks it could've have worked out.
yeah, there are other ways to draw (and even recolor) Celestia like in this pic >>1864. I guess I am too used to appreciating the usual
model or artstyle. This one is better though. >>1915. I think it´s the huge contrast that makes it look awkward to some extent.

>I was just talking about Celestia in general.
yeah, she sparked the interest indeed. A shame we don´t have the original images there but you actually posted more images about her during that 300 post achievement.

>There is more substance to those things the a lot of the forceful non sequiturs that are often beaten to death n the mainstream (Dee's Nuts, Corn corn corn bla bla you get the picture)
I have not heard about them. I have just checked KYM for the first one and it had a big peak a couple of months in 2015 but I guess it was like summer´s song. Once the period is over, it fades into obscurity. A friend of mine described that the good old memes stay because they are not forced at all, those that are forced have to find something beyond the initial laughs.
I do know a couple of underground memes that have been forgotten for a while for good reason. First, it´s the infamous bananaposting in /b/ during 2014-15, I don´t know if they still do that but damn, they went all in for it. Another one is Milhouse, the perfect example of a forced meme. Milhouse himself is not a meme because he keeps asking for it to become but Milhouse not being a meme is a meme...for ironic reasons.

>Though admittedly those can get the same treatment if they do get noticed enough.
it depends on the purpose behind use them. However, if they are already consumed and have fallen out of any sort of fun, then they stay in the same fate any temporal meme does.

>I love Dolores Umbridge for that very reason.
it was an accidental wordfilter, so the root of it doesn´t come from a forced situation. In fact, I have checked that if one does spell Star Light, it doesn´t trigger the filter in case for actual discussion. Some users in /mlp/ have associated the actual character of Harry Potter to her though to my surprise.
