So I had actually posted in >>2115 an edit with the line to be continued. I expected to write a conversation about Daybreaker trying to manipulate Celestia and prove how both are the same entity. What I didn´t expect was writing so much, linking all the things I never knew I wanted to write.
Unlike my previous fics, this ones doesn´t have any musical inspiration, at least ,directly. It contains some random lyric combined for convenience like Spiritualized in Do All Over Again ("Don´t think that a few words of sympathy are going to change my mind" but that one is a combination of two lines in the actual song), Idioteque the song ("laugh until my head comes off"), which was written in the last moment before posting the text here on the /end/, and The Cure from the album Pornography("I will never be clean again"). Those are very subtle and modified lyrics so no, the inspiration in this aspect just comes for little details here and there, they don´t change nor have been intrusive to the main idea.
The main idea and source for all this fic is the actual /end/, especially these confessional, political and personal posts that I have posted during this month. I think that this fic represents the perfect summary of my writing: corruption, evil side, diplomacy and raising up questions here and there with organic actions. The main theme here is that no one here is the villain or the hero because the conversation is from just one protagonist who speaks with two wildly different perspectives yet they are the same coin in the end. Celestia is afraid of Daybreaker and there is one fatal flaw in this fic:
This conflict happens after season 8 and I contradict it with the comforts of darkness in which Celestia knows how to bring her evil side. That alone prevents this from being a perfect fic to judge.
I had solutions for everything even if they were political inspirations and it seems that I have taken an approach by using this image from the alternate universe in the comics. In this pic, Stygian describes Celestia and Nightmare Moon as easily corrupted so both princesses may have changed their names so they wouldn´t remind themselves about their own past.
This fic has one objective: show somehow my loss of innocence. Celestia is in denial most of the time, she doesn´t know how to admit that flaming arrow that is passing through her mind despite facing it a lot of times before. However, in this case, that arrow hit her in the weak point and so, her own mental conflict starts. She becomes more aggressive and Daybreaker allows her to see the path she must follow at the same time.
