if it´s well combined, trust me it can be pretty effective for what you want to transmit and at the same time, play with what you know from the past. In science, not only you have to experiment things but also observe and interpret phenomenons that while not seeing for yourself, theorize why they happen (implications and observations that you have in the text related to it).
I suppose that method of interpreting while telling actual events can offer a great mix for a story. And like I said before, I don´t want to look like an absolute loser with the story and deliver a fair proportion of entertainment value in it.

it haunts me because it´s politics and I promised myself not to fall into that lack of mind control again with this topic. I have to deal with them every day yet they have served me to learn a few valuable things as well.In the end, that paranoia was the wake up slap that I needed in order to establish a solid mind for anything. I just wish I had those illusions but it seems that I am finding certain pleasant things along the way even without that innocence.
