I agree. This is something that needs to be looked into and addressed.

I feel lucky that I live in a community that, while all of this crap is certainly being forced on them, the majority of the teachers I've come across in my area recognize it for the b-crap it is and are reasonable and generally good people in it for the right reasons. Of course, there are bad agenda-pushers, too, but they are a minority here.

I used to hate that where I live seemed to be stuck back in time...now, I'm thankful. You still see kids playing on the streets everywhere here, and I've lived in places where that's a big no-no
