We honor the courage and bravery of all those who rose up in the face of evil to help thier fellow man.
We lift up the men and women of the NYPD, FDNY, and all who responded by charging into the chaos, smoke and flames to save lives.
The unbreakable courage, and the immeasurable bravey displayed by these heroes on that fateful day, reflects the very soul of New York City and what it means to be an American.
We lost 343 firefighters, 72 police officers, and at least 2,753 other individuals, each with thier own story, family, hopes and dreams.
While we can never bring them back, their legacy endures in every expression of kindness, every moment of unity, and in every act of exceptional bravery.
May God bless our fallen heroes, and may God bless the United States of America.
