She took off the plaster casts a few minutes after getting them, replaced by fancy plastic ortho boots with straps she can take on/off to wash, etc...

The issues are not forcing it unnecessarily and the pain. Pain reduced significantly, normalcy in her limits will take a while longer based on the xrays (nothing outside of the normal for fractures like that).

But she even gets up/down stairs slowly with her heels when necessary, I just make sure its as less necessary as possible.
