My dad managed to accomplish that unless you're counting Alzheimer's as a mental illness. To do it he sacrificed having a wife that had good genes, and was young enough to not have fucked up children. I'm just venting. It seems hopeless because as bad as mental illness can be, being pretty enough all but guarantees reproduction. Everyone recoils when you talk about eugenics, but females have been doing their eugenics for God knows how long and I don't think it's going that well for us.
