BTC: >instead of bip39 you have Sparrow, which is just a software wallet for bitcoin with more features >activate persistent memory on tails (its very obvious in the start screen), copy the sparrow deb, unzip it, run, create new wallet, new software wallet, 24 words, follow instructions (it will have you write them down and test them) >apply and you should be done when the buttons light up and you can open the 'receive' page, there you can get your address >no need to send any bitcoin to the address to activate, bitcoin works by default >send small amount to verify it works >make a view-only wallet on your phone with Electrum so you can monitor your coins (use the address, not the 24 words, those exist only on the paper) >wait before sending more coins
Unline XRP, Sparrow supports airgapped validation. Which is basically: >create a transfer in your view only wallet in Electrum, export it to a file, transfer that file to your offline linux (Tails), load it on sparrow, validate the transfer with your seed words, export the file again back to Electrum and send it to the blockchain
So you can make transfers easily without ever exposing your seed. You can do that with XRP too but right now just through some commandline interfaces and such.
I'm at that point, waiting to see if the wallets are safe.
