To resist "current" 5GW you need a good percent of the population that are at least amateur spooks and verify facts and work with multiple hypothesis. (Many experimental populations try to build that up, such as the Sayanin in Israel) Or that are at least very big on pattern recognition, which is more so the case now.
Even if the average paranoid prepper american is not doing intelligence work (well, many are), they get immune to patterns they noticed before, such as the great noticing of COVID and so on.

This is immunity to psychological warfare alone. Early 5GW.

Computers and AI bring in new "post-truth" layers to it that complicates things, and require technological solutions. But those technological solutions are multipliers.

In a non-immune population, the minority of smart people who are defensive would have to use those technologies against their own people to protect them from the other attacks. (Trick them into doing the right thing)

A population that has some degree of immunity will use those technologies themselves, in a proper immune system way.

A big issue is hereditarily. Our verbal communication limits how we can pass down those patterns. We can still pass down the "habit" of researching and the mindset, but not the experiences and patterns for the young ones to recognize.
