Here is my bet: Governors the police are going to turn against the federal government, with local and foreign support. Not militaristically, but just not recognizing their legitimacy and self-organizing/isolating them.
This may become a permanent South Brazil vs North Brazil thing, but that would be desirable.
Our local elites will probably surrender before it gets to that, once they realize the real situation, but I would like it to actually happen.
