However, after reading your post, some things clicked. In the recent years I've noticed a shift in perspective regarding my family. Even though my relationship with them hasn't degraded (if anything, it has matured), I have noticed I'm more karmically detached from the family dynamics without even trying. There's a very noticeable difference between being close with someone and being karmically involved with them.
