Position: We are in the timeline where the apocalypse didn't happen, and that's a choice. Reality is under your control.

Personally, I don't believe that I, the ape called Bear, is the one who controls anything. I am just a thought in your head. A string of memories you control that loosely forms a narrative. The Bear you know doesn't exist outside your head. The you that you know doesn't either.

What 'we' apes can know is just a string of loosely held beliefs tied to experiences and conditioning.

So who is in control of this future and reality, I can honestly say you are. But not the you that you think you are, that particular you is irrelevant, arbitrary, and riddled with false strings.

The you that is afraid of Baba Yaga, the you that can't control your BodyOS, the you who complains about sand niggers, the you that has nightmares about being in a warzone... even the me who complains about liberals and electric cars. That you is a false projection, a glint of light off a perfect gem that has little to do with the gem itself.

(I honestly think Tamamuwu is the only sane one here because I can't recall anything he's shared at least about conditioning or fear or abnormalities. Tamauwu, you seem to be the Marilynn Munster here.)

Anyway, this still applies to you. Because even you think you are something solid, real or permanent, and you're free to believe that, but in reality, just like everyone else, we are all nothing. Immeasurably small, at least two dimensions smaller than who is actually in control, infinitesimally infinitesimal, the period at the end of the Bible, something so small, so insignificant, nothing, yet still there is something there, but it's effectively nothing. Not even by definition something, literally arbitrary at your whim.

Who's whim though? Right? The 'being' if you can call it that, if you believe in non-duality it's the source, could be we're all just part of it. If you believe in souls, that's him, the one who wrote the soul contract perhaps. Whatever you want to believe, whatever you were programmed to believe or choose to believe or believe you have the choice to believe or not, that's the guy.
