The difference between decimating humanity and yuri is that yuri is trash.

Actually, it is not my fetish. I like this screencap because it shows a world that in many ways is better than ours (higher intelligence, immortality is available, everybody is attractive, large incentives for monogamy), but is far from what I'd really want. The glaring problem is that you couldn't trust a world that is so content and so feminine to advance to a Type II civilization. However, considering some of this world's other aspects, like how humans "just kind of materialize", it does not seem to be a world beyond the reach of God. The normal rules of go right out of the window, making it more of an afterlife.

I belive you'll find writing a SF story based on your fetish but calling it a "weirdtopia" is exactly in line with how Yudkowsky originally used the term.

Science is banal and useless for the individual in the world we live in while empowering of society. This is much like programming.

Would it not be great if this were reversed?

What if you have a junior aspiring rationalists who have to submit to a Rationalist Master, and the master makes them solve little math puzzles before they are allowed to get to the climax?

Plantonize, distill and crystallize the mood conveyed by this webm and drip-feed it to lobotomized cave-pale wirehead gods. All-devouring whitehot bliss, forever and ever - GOOD END

That is Daicon IV. But I agree, that's where it peaks, and it's one of the best moments in animation set to music.
