Hardly makes a difference to me. Many more could also pull the plug and it would have little impact in an era where imageboards and the internet aren't that far apart. Some newer place will just appear and become beneficial in leaking useful info/interesting files while it thinks its community has an attractive posting quality to it when really it's a lot like going into a discord with a bunch of hostile angry people throwing shit everywhere as they fight for the most attention.
