WTF? Propagandists Say America Does Not Deserve Clean Safe Cities Because We Want Freedom?

In a post last week, I wrote that amid all the rage at Tucker Carlson's reporting from Moscow, none of his critics had bothered to explain why America can't have nice things, like Moscow's clean and safe subways.

It looks like I spoke too soon. One Tucker critic (a longtime one at that), Jon Stewart, has bothered to explain why America can't have nice things. You can hear him say it himself in the clip from his Daily Show in the X post below, but in a nutshell, Jon Stewart argues that our squalor is the price of freedom.

Jon Stewart unironically tells Tucker Carlson that the reason why the US can’t have clean functioning subways or cheap grocery prices like they do in Moscow is “the literal price of freedom” pic.twitter.com/tFQorEhLPW

As you can imagine, this generated some heated responses. Some pointed out that Moscow isn't the only city with clean and safe subways--democratic Tokyo has them too.

Tokyo is unfree fascist society too?

Others suggested that Stewart's concept of "freedom" really only applies to America's criminal class.

Jon Stewart’s “freedom” just walked out with $51k of Gucci.

Lets be honest, freedom does not guarantee you any right to harm others, steal merchandise or commit felony crime in your community. That is not what freedom is about at all. There can still be public safety laws enforced while law abiding citizens have their freedom, America has proven this fact for decades in our past history.

Helen Andrews noted that Jon Stewart (and other American pundits attacking Tucker Carlson for showing Moscow's nice amenities) were deceiving themselves like Russian communists did during the Cold War, to avoid admitting their lower living standards.

Calling social decay "the literal price of freedom" is a self-deception to make us accept declining living standards — the same way Russians during the Cold War knew the U.S. had better stores but told themselves it's OK because Soviet wealth goes into industrialization & Sputnik.

His actual name is Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz. I'm not at all surprised. This is one of (((their))) symptoms. It comes from a false superiority complex.

When you compare Russia to USA, you must acknowledge:
1) For some reason in USA big cities are awful ghettos, while suburbs and small towns are nice places. In Russia it's the opposite. Megalopolises are beacons of civilization surrounded by poor province.
2) There is almost no black population in Russia.

But even adjusted to that, America could do better, especially given that it's a rich country which is world hegemony. Woke elites love criminals and hate normal working citizens.

t. Russian

I will say this, living in America is not so bad when you can live more rural, there are some beautiful small towns and some of them which were previously hit by financial depression and outsourcing over the last few decades are booming once again due to so many Americans fleeing the major cities ("white flight" all over again). I feel bad for fellow Americans who are stuck in the major cities, there are many Americans who cannot afford to move elsewhere. Housing prices are rigged in the States too, purposely by the Federal Reserve, in order to keep lower class working Americans from moving out of the cities. Basically in America your quality of life all depends how much money you make, or your inheritance. If you were born into wealth you can live a pretty decent life, and if not tough luck no one gives a fuck (sadly so but that's just reality here and no it's not a fair system at all). Economy is completely rigged to keep the lower classes poor, to keep the wealthy fed and happy while keeping the government uni-party and the (((oligarchy))) they work for in power at all cost. Working class citizens are literally considered expendable by our own government (notice how they allow illegals from all over the world to flood into our country to replace American workers' jobs with slave labor). Therefore America is not going to last very much longer. Russia and China will become the next major superpowers. For a while I assume the Jews will treat Russia good after America collapses, only to later fuck your country up and betray Russia like they have done to America. Seems to be their MO, as many seem to convey here and on pol.

>fuck your country up and betray Russia
Well, it has happened before. I'm sure Russian anon is aware of this.

I forgot to add the shame of the Bolsheviks when they were too afraid to admit (in opposition to the article's statements) what they really did to the last Tsar's wife, daughters and son.

Dolton becomes the real Russia

On Tuesday, police shut down two popular bars, and one trustee says it's because they're not supporting Dolton's Mayor, Tiffany Henyard.

Is it a coincidence? Or retaliation? Both the Dolton bars that were raided and shut down last night FOX 32 visited the day before as part of our ongoing investigation into allegations of political corruption in the south suburb.

"They just rushed in here. Put police at the front door like they were doing a raid on a drug house or something," said Sevone Garfield, security director of Pablo's Cafe and Bar.

A team of Dolton officers, headed by Deputy Police Chief Lewis Lacey, raided and shut down Pablo's Bar and Café and Rinky's Bar and Café, both located on Sibley about a block apart.

"Everything going peacefully. Nothing going on. Like 10 police cars come in and they start pushing customers from here. And he said if you don't leave, we're gonna lock you up," said George Mseeh, owner of Pablo's Cafe and Bar.

Employees and owners say it's part of an ongoing campaign of harassment by Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard that is costing jobs and money. Their business licenses have been stripped by Dolton, but they've continued to operate with a state license.

On Monday, FOX 32 visited both Rinky's and Pablo's to ask about allegations that their licenses were being held up for political reasons.

Then, last night, we broke the story that FBI agents have questioned at least a half dozen people, including business owners, a former Dolton employee, and an elected official as part of an investigation into Mayor Henyard.

Less than two hours after our story aired, police raided the two bars.

"Someone seen you go in there. And then two hours after your story aired, the police are at both of these establishments," said Tammie Brown, Dolton trustee.

Brown says she believes the raids are meant to send a warning to others not to talk, and she believes there's a reason so many Dolton businesses are having trouble getting their licenses renewed.

"I'm sure that they were asked to donate, make a donation, and most likely they didn't make a donation. So you don't get a chance to stay open if you don't pay the queen's ransom," Brown said.
