将头脑中的空想·理想·观念论上的中国世界误认为是现实·真实，对中国抱有过度的期待或幻想，或者拒绝中国的现实面貌，沉迷于将自己脑海中描绘的中国视为正确的现实逃避，这种病态。
在日本人中非常普遍，与“巴黎症候群”一起，可以说是国民病。

◆中国幻想Ⅱ
“中共或习近平倒下的话，中国就会变好！”
这种想法的病态。在中国史等文化方面的知识匮乏的人中常见。比起日本人，在西方人中更为普遍。

“人民是被中共洗脑的可怜受害者！”
这种“人民无罪论”的主张也是其一大特征，缺乏从文化角度来看的视角，即中共是有权力的中国人，而人民是没有权力的中国人。

◆中国人幻想Ⅲ
无法升华自己的自卑感，为此依赖强者（例如：中共政府）以求解脱，结果误以为自己变强了，并通过傲慢的态度等在对外场合炫耀这种状态的病态。
别称“借虎威的狐狸”综合征。
在中国从小接受“爱国教育”的年轻人中尤为显著。
