Sharty users decided to turn their site into a moral crusader content farm for Turkey Tom and a datafarm headed by a cabal of Discord and Twitter users. They had so much momentum and culture-producing potential and they blew it. I don't even know if they secured a legacy for themselves because they simply didn't do many creative/cool/different things. Idk if people would be so obsessed with old 4chan if all they did back then was various spinoffs of Operation Chanology wrapped in moralfag+internet tough guy screeching. Anyway I VILL NOT look back in anger when they get shut down and I VILL NOT become obsessed.

Sharty users are generally very political and wish to change society as they see fit. Yet within their own online society they're mindless, joyless, obsessive, monotonous, hypocritical, bloodthirsty, and cucked. So why do they demand that people listen to them? I think it would be better if they actually had FUN on their site, but keep on stressing themselves out by getting into drama and having a savior complex. The best part of the site is that they have a strong sense of community, a deep history, and are upstream from the rest of online culture.

To be honest, they had their chance multiple times. The sharty could have revolted under the shemmy or kuzzy which were perfectly justified but they back-stabbed those sites and sided with their shitty admins as you have said. They've made their shit-covered bed and now they're going to sit in it. I've learnt to let go after the kuzzy failed becuase that was the last time we could have ever fixed things. However though the continual existence of the site infuriates me even today a little, i can't lie.
