Which does /mu/ prefer: 80s King Crimson, or doldrums (between Court and Larks) King Crimson?

I prefer the doldrums (between Court and Larks). Let's not forget 90s Crimson, either.

I disagree, and I'm going to rape you over it.
In all seriousness, the only thing worth listening to from that time period is their live recordings. None of their studio output is memorable (besides Cat Food, for the wrong reason). When played live, however, these shit songs are almost as nasty and energetic as the stuff from Red. Pictures Of A City is really something on those old bootlegs.
Their 80s output, if not particularly daring, actually sounds like fucking music. So i r8 them well above the retards that made Happy Family and The Letters.
idk any of their 90s stuff lemme check it out and get back to you
