Spilling beans so listen up. Trump was told that our in-flight re-fueling aircraft were recently destroyed in Jordan's Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base by Iranian hypersonic missiles and drones. Jordon's government then told America we needed to leave their country and can no longer hold our bases there. This caused widespread panic for the DC swamp and deep state. We no longer can keep refueling fighter jets as easily as we have in the past. Yes we still can but the ability will be far more limited. Also, there is no defeating Iran's hypersonic missile techology they got from the Russians. First checkmate. The US is losing the war with Iran and Donald Trump was finally told this truth. He had a massive meltdown and temper tantrum. Oh and by the way, the next dominoe for the US empire to fall will be Ukraine. The only thing that could delay the inevitable would be to get directly involved,...BUT that would require a national draft aka complete political suicide and worse, possibly an armed uprising of furious young Americans and second revolution. Second checkmate. Trump is having a very, VERY bad week. Expect a mid-term crisis ahead too.

Its quite a series of events that leads up to the "Give us 1 million troops in 18 months" endpoint according to the timeline shown here...

Military Demographics and a Potential Draft
Current active-duty demographics (2024–2025 data) show roughly:
White non-Hispanic: approximately 50–55% overall (lower in younger cohorts and some recent recruiting classes).
Black: ~15–20% (higher in the Army).
Hispanic: ~19–22% overall, rising in recent accessions and younger age groups (sometimes 25–30%+ in the 18–24 enlisted cohort depending on branch and year).

Currently weve only lost seven KC-135 refuelers but even that is way too many, the crews are not protected they depend on force projection bubble and redundancy in terms of any inbound threats. As to being hit on the ground, that\s a failure of the ground based air defenses there, and id wonder if they were doing CAP around those planes on the ground. If I were that base commander id have planes in the air doing longer and higher recon in terms of what's inbound and i'd have strong reflexive moving of the planes into the air, if threats are near, id have the crews sleep in the fucking thing. but then we also probably have strong fuel restrictions active which means theres no recon, no CAP, nothing just big fat helpless super expensive planes on the fucking ground, that jugheaded iranian fucknuts can just dump some scud missles on. Shit on that plan altogether we might as well fly the planes and land them in iran, for the way this shit's going.
