Thekuzzy is dead, but we live on.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about what happens to things after the people who built them are gone. Communities, websites, projects, even friendships have a strange tendency to outlive the people who were once at the centre of them. Eventually, the people who remember how everything started become fewer and fewer, and what remains is a collection of stories, arguments, mistakes, and half-remembered versions of what actually happened.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Last time, the threats came from outside. This time, they came from within.

I remember when we were under constant attack from the quote's bots, When our mere mention would send chills across our foes. I remember when we were a band of comrades united against tyranny of his regime, outnumbered and facing incredible odds in the PixelPlanet raid against shartycucks, yet somehow we still persevered, SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS! Bobody, Layas, the Cytubes, Dead Mexican Adult, Baldi Stripping, Things that made this community.

It's all gone now.

I don't think there is much value in endlessly arguing over who was responsible for what, or in trying to reconstruct every disagreement that brought us here. There is plenty that could be said about the past, both good and bad, but eventually you have to accept it's over, bruh. Let it go.😭

Kuz, Scar, Neutraleyes, even Kuri, all left behind legacies of their own, whether they intended to or not. Whatever we think of the decisions they made, the things they built became part of the history of this community. They were here, they shaped it, and eventually they moved on.

It is now our responsibility to decide what happens next.

But we should not fall blindly into idolatrism. Things will never be exactly as they were before, and perhaps they shouldn't be. Trying to recreate the past perfectly is an exercise in futility. The people are different, the circumstances are different, and we are different.

I don't want us to spend the next few years trying to recreate what already existed, over and over again, like the Shemmycucks. There is no glory in endlessly rebuilding something that has already run its course.

I don't want Thekuzzy's last memories to be that of petty discord drama that killed it.

Out of coal came forth the sweetness.

The Sharty is undoubtedly less rulecucked than it has been in recent years. Do we really have any chance of competing with them?

That could change at any moment. If Salt really is just another one of Quote's alt egos, then perhaps the situation will change sooner than anyone expects.

Many of us Kuzzyboils are gone.

Some moved on. Some disappeared. Some simply stopped caring. And perhaps that is just the natural way these things go.

But for those who stuck around, and are still here to see this.
