* On 8chan, we know the owner is Jim Watkins, but how many people knew that before March?
* We know the names of both BO's from 8chan (QR = @FastJack, QRB = 8Bit), but we don't know their "real" names.
* Many QR/QRB bakers (espec. regular bakers) have either baker names or identifiable pastebins, in order to facilitate /comms/.
* Other anons are known by what they do (e.g., ResignationAnon) or by the memes they post and/or make from scratch. i sort of have the "identity" of bu baker here but bc we have no bred id's, i'm still not very identifiable except when posting notes or actually baking.
* Anons vary in the degree to which they endorse (or insist upon) anonymity; those on one end want to eliminate fame-fagging while those on the other stress transparency and the ability to better communicate.
* Ironically, in the end, we are anons only to one another; Board Mgmt knows our hashed IPs and nobody argues with that, bc it's necessary for good mgmt.

When i bake on endchan, my pastebin is anon, but when i bake on 8chan, it's transparent. Everyone knows who baked the last bred, which keeps bakers honest imo. Most anons aren't focused on that at this point here, so i don't bother to share that id. But i would, if requested to.

Am in favor of baker names or pastebins when there are more than a couple of bakers bc of the need for good comms. Just try coordinating the bake when the breds are less than an hour--or when Q is posting. ID's really help. (One time a baker who didn't like id's was trying to hand off and there were several of us around, he handed it to me but would not use my baker name, instead used the bred id. I didn't know until @600 that i was the baker, kek.)

Related issue: many anons don't like to say "I." They use passive voice or "this anon" instead. I think it's amusing, but ok. Don't really think avoiding either "I" or a monicker makes people any less egotistical, assuming that's the goal. Interesting thing to observe, though.

Any and every single source site is vulnerable to the whims of either the host, BO or site admin. This is an inherent weakness. The other option is distributed peer-to-peer like ZeroNet, which as the 'disinformation injection' success has shown, some still believe paytriots and will not visit. Free will and choice are all-important though. It's good to have options, but also to be realistic about the pros & cons of those options.

I think bakers get laxed with bakerfame and forget that anons watch very closely, as well as ABC, to what they say and who they are. And we do this I believe because no sight; just words. We will formulate opinions and make hypothesis regarding people... dox if u may. This applies to planefags, quakefags, moneyfags and anyone else that gives a glimpse of an identity. So, if you are any of those alts. Do not add any other words, then what is bare minimum to communicate your message. Refrain from any colorful words, or common phrases you like to use. Use an uncommon phrase. TYpE DiFfErenTly aS WeLL. For example, if u normally type lowercase (which you should, and we all should). Type your plane and money report In First Letter Caps or use long sentences. anything to throw the scent off or who you are normally on the board (thus an anons alt would be planefag). As Stated This Is Not A Game.

Details are beginning to emerge about the deep state political operative within the intelligence apparatus who wrote a ‘whistleblower’ complaint based on second-hand information he heard on the intelligence grapevine about President Trump.

According to the New York Times the complaint derives from a male who was a former CIA operative on assignment within National Security Council (NSC), who left the White House and returned to the CIA:


WASHINGTON — The whistle-blower who revealed that President Trump sought foreign help for his re-election and that the White House sought to cover it up is a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to work at the White House at one point, according to three people familiar with his identity.

The man has since returned to the C.I.A., the people said. Little else is known about him. His complaint made public Thursday suggested he was an analyst by training and made clear he was steeped in details of American foreign policy toward Europe, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of Ukrainian politics and at least some knowledge of the law. The outlined profile, in combination with the political motive, have led many people to begin searching through: (1) current CIA operatives; (2) who come from the era of Brennan; and (3) were previously assigned to the White House (NSC); and (4) then removed; and (5) then returned to the CIA. That profile has led to suspicions of identity.

A strong possibility for the identity, a person who checks all the boxes of known attributes, follows a trail to Michael Barry:

JULY 2018 – A top intelligence official at the National Security Council (NSC) is reportedly leaving the White House.

Michael Barry, senior NSC director for intelligence programs, is leaving the council as part of national security adviser John Bolton’s major staffing overhaul, two government officials told the Daily Beast.

One source quoted in the report Tuesday said that Barry is leaving on “very good terms,” but that his departure will be a “tough loss.” Barry is reportedly returning to the CIA, where he served before joining the NSC. (link)

An October 2017 Politico article outlines Barry as he replaced Ezra Cohen Watnick [SEE HERE]. CIA operative Michael Barry was put in place by National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster: “Michael Barry, became the National Security Council’s chief intelligence officer in September [2017] and is the primary liaison between the NSC, which coordinates US national security policy, and the CIA.” [LINK] “Michael Barry once worked on a CIA assassination program.”

Michael Barry was later removed by John Bolton [2018] after Bolton became National Security Advisor. [SEE HERE] “Barry’s departure is on “very good terms,” one source said, but it will be a “tough loss for the NSC.” According to the source, Barry is returning to the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served before joining the NSC staff. Though it is speculation, the known profile fits this specific individual. Given the ‘whistleblower’ hired a well-known partisan political lawyer to represent his current accusations; and given the political nature of his claims with no direct evidence to support them; the motive of the deep state also matches the profile of Michael Barry.

So, reports have come out that the whistleblower was briefly working in the whitehouse on the National Security Council. Watnick fits the bill here since he started in the NSC in Trump's whitehouse until McMaster fired him
