yah prolly, at least with the feds theres usually some kinda splash screen letting you know they grabblered it, but this particular situation reminds me a lot of what happened with the 8gag shutdown where the site suddenly just froze and was unusable but still visible and everyone only found out what was actually up through like twatter or some other external shithole.
