what happened? Anonymous 06/08/2026 (Mon) 12:40 [Preview] No. 78179
In the 1960s everyone was looking forward to the new founded "space age" and the advancing consumer technologies that was making life easier for the modern family. Housing was affordable. One working man in the family could pay the mortgage, the utility bills, commuting costs and the food. Cities were organized and clean. America had massive industries that far out-competed the rest of the world. Our GDP far surpassed the national debt.

In the 2020s, 60 years later, almost no one is looking forward to anything anymore. Most people are maxxed out on credit card debts, living paycheck to paycheck. Millions are forced to live in their vehicles today because they cannot afford a home or apartment to live in. The cities in America are trashed, riddled with homelessness, drug addiction and violent crime yet swept under the rug never allowed to be discussed by media, and the national debt is now $40 TRILLION with debt bigger than the GDP.

So what went wrong? How did we get here? What would you recommend being done to correct this?

The answer no one bothers admitting or talking about. Systemic corruption, abandoning Austrian economics (strict solvent monetary policy) for endless debt creation and reckless governmental spending, the legalization of political lobbying, decades of industrial outsourcing, decades of government ignoring anti-trust laws that would have prevented monopolization of the economy and effective Marxist media brainwashing that created a majority demographic of highly indebted college "educated" fools across the country.

It was very simple to bring down America. Get us involved in never ending failed wars. Outsource our industries to countries like Vietnam, South Korea and China. Bribe Congress to recklessly spend and grift while indebting the entire nation. Regulate common sense policy out of existence and/or making it illegal. Opening up the borders to flood the country with cheap labor from the third world. Create a federal student loan program based on lies and plunge future generations into debt slavery. Lie about the economy, rig the statistics, say everything is normal and fine while the sky falls and reality crashes down on the masses. Keep people politically divided so they never blame the true culprits, their own politicians, their own government.

Who would have thought it would have been so easy?
