Bernd and related knows this place already, but they opt not to post here. You could catch new users if you are willing to seek out the disgruntled on Kohl, but they are often want an alternative which pace is similarly quick as Kohl's.
What could we do?
Keep together current userbase. Replying to newish users, and those who just pop in once in a while, keeping them engaged shows them it's worth to stick around, their addition to the conversation doesn't go unnoticed. You are lucky you have common topic with Danebernd, since we are few our interests might not overlap, and we lack redundancy to spin multi-person discussions frequently.
Fishing for individual users on other IBs. As I stated above it's complicated.
Help Endchan to grow. As Polan above said as new boards open up, new communities move here, some of those users will look around and post on other boards. We could make people be aware of the existance of Endchan and offer them a place to post, then help their acclimatization, and raise awareness of the world surrounds them. This need to be done unobtrusively, otherwise it would just alienate the potential userbase, and they won't move here. So spamming the chan everywhere is out of question.
In addition of the previous point we have to keep Endchan online, and away from such dramas that knocked out 8chan. It should be a safe harbour for anons all over. There are lots of small (tiny) altchans but they are kinda fragile, and I read some even exploited the users by harvesting and selling their data. We have to be stable as much as possible, and clean, trustable - well as far as trust can go on imageboards.
Now that we are talking about altchans. Those guys - as Ernst and Kohl - are aware of the existence of Endchan. The only big pond around is... 4chan. /bbg/ was formed from those guys, just like /ligamx/ And actually it's a fair chance all of us started their IB career there. I'm not talking about flooding End with newfags however.

Quality is better than quantity. I'm from 27chan and I browse KohlC and what I see in it is similar to what I see in 55chan, a lot of social network users posting about what they like, hatred for true Bernds and worse things even. Meanwhile we in 27 have a really small community but basically all posts are quality, each in their own way (even the ones I don't personally find interesting). I speak on the basis of int since elsewhere seems to be ok (particularly /b/). But indeed, if you/we want more posters than we should actually choose people, and there are those that are lucky enough (like me) to actually find the real KC by sheer lurking and searching. I knew about endch but it seems to go off sometimes and so I barely get back to this place. I really like here for the fact that I'm not ignored and not told to get out by some random poster and I was answered when I asked for a specific thing (which kind of melted my heart, that was the most unexpected thing for me, I thought someone would tell me to lurk more).
to;dr just share this place in a quiet but noticeable manner since true Bernds wo understand, but make the chance of it being a true Bernd higher by choosing who you will reply to.

There's just a few threads that are interesting (once every 2 weeks average) in Kohl, most of the time it's shitposters and attention whores. Serious discussion may only be had here in true KC.

Opened /kc/ checking what's new just to see that the first page has no new content beside Swebernds inane bs and youtube links? Then thought, oh well, nothing to comment on, no new oc or serious discussion on international stuff, and closed the page and went on with his day?
Now this is happening for months now. No matter how much effort one makes, those threads get bumped back, or filled with comments until the actual content disappears among the shown recent posts. Threads that actually worth updating has to be searched for - and after adding actual content with effort, time and thought put into it they will be forced back where noone will notice. Real discussion isn't generated, because that content isn't easily accessible. Newcomers only meet his superficial comments. He doesn't even talks with said newcomers who seemingly share interest in a topic with him. He replies with read a book, or with a youtube link to watch that, or simply stating you are wrong but no reasoning added why. He is swamping /kc/ with thin shitposts.
I don't mind him calling me names, I pass by his insults, his idiotic opinions don't bother me. But him soiling over /kc/ in a way that prohibits it's traditionally normal working is a danger to /kc/ itself.
The cancer that is killing /kc/ is - ironically - the one who opened this particular thread but added nothing close (or even far away) to substantial to it.
