I really like instrumental metal if it's good... But I know so few, how do I know what's good. So duckduckwent quickly and found this:
https://rateyourmusic.com/list/hogasa/instrumental-thrash-metal/Scrolled through a few songs I knew, more bands I know of. Here's four selected, not randomly, however.
Municipal Waste: Under Waste CommandVery much like any other of their songs. Perhaps a bit more melodious here and there, flashed out. About 3,6 roentgen.
Nuclear Assault: Game OverFor an old Hajdú washing machine, this would be a great song. Those sound exactly like this. It's not horrible tho, it's just bland. The band's name and song title is still awfully relevant.
Carnivore: Five Billion DeadNow Carnivore. It's like a signature crossover band I think, I can really appreciate how raw, "underproduced" they sound. I should listen them more but I think my problem with them was that all their songs have a good riff and a shitty one next to it
except Jesus Hitler, that's awesome through and through. This song is the same. The riff it starts with could make it a classic punk ballad.
Metallica: Suicide and RedemptionI like the first half of second half of this one. It's a long 9 minute track so I have to wait till the best part for a while when I listen it. Why I love that part: as the solo starts it really reminds me of NFS III: Hot Persuit's soundtrack. It could fit right in there.
