I should mention you might need to find a way of expanding the allowed size of a site. I have already expanded it quite a bit on ZeroNet, but back when I first started posting, I ran into the 10meg default cap pretty quick as 08ch was exploding in traffic volume (the limit is across all boards on the site, so that includes pol, v, qresearch, etc). 50mb seemed to be sufficient for the time being, but that will ultimately have to be something we work out in the protocol for ZeroNet, later.

Well... not exactly. The problem is in Q's current tripcode. A normal tripcode simply takes a given input and runs a cryptographic hash on it (scrambles it in binary to end up with all kinds of weird stuff). Because this program is the same across all boards in use, the same input renders the same output. So, if I go to endchan with a normal trip and post with, say, my name, then the hash will appear the same on any board.

But, it's not a complicated tripcode and there are trip explorers that allow you to crack a tripcode. By randomizing the input to a hash and testing all possible combinations, you can generate all possible outcomes of the hash and match them to their input. Current hardware isn't quite up to the task (for the average consumer) of doing this for a full trip code - but you can, say, tell the explorer you want your trip output to include "DogLover" in it, and it will start running until it finds several tripcodes that have that string in it.

Which is why the secure tripcode was used for his current one. This one uses a salt that is only present on the 8chan servers. Basically - an extra little bit of input code to make it impossible to do the above unless you have that code. This code is unique to 8chan and won't produce the same output on other boards.

It would need to go under a different system - which could actually just be displaying UIDs - which are already cryptographic in nature. Q would just need to verify, if he wanted to post here, that he is Q and then verify that a ZID here (or UID or whatever) is him. Or... just validate himself here? I dunno - Q does Q.

Here's a Q thread from a few hours ago that has been archived.

Here's how it seems to me.

You have 4 Chan. And 4 Chan is where Q started, so, in that regard, 4 Chan is good. There are a lot of people typing there. On the other hand, it seems like a lot of people over at 4 Chan don't want Q there. Threads go fast, and get archived, and then become inaccessible.

I would argue that most of the activity should be taking place over at 4 Chan.

But then we have this one, Endchan.net/qrb and Endchan.net/qanonresearch

threads on these boards don't disappear unless there is hacking, and then, typically, the threads and boards come back. It really isn't as good as 4 chan, for the number of people and for the ability to stay up all the time. But it's better than 4 chan for some archival purposes, for shorter time frame archival.

And there's also Zero Net. Which I like because theoretically, it can't be brought off line. It seems hard to use, it might not actually work right, sometimes you post and it seems like you're shadow banned. But if you can get your content up there, it should stay.

From short term talking, to long term archiving, it seems like it goes 4 chan, to endchan, to Zero Net.

As I understand it, 8 chan isn't supposed to be back until Sept 5 or Sept 6 in that area, and we've got about 3 weeks to kill, and it would be nice to have something that we can understand for that 3 week time period.

So, as I see it.

Use 4 Chan pol for most talking.

Use Endchan to put links to 4 Chan content.

Use Zero Net for links to 4 Chan content and for links to Endchan content.

Others could obviously see it differently, others might have a better system, but right now it doesn't seem like there is really any great solution.
