>>60973 >>60974 I'm not talking about therapy and positive thinking.
I'm talking about Jung's Red Book. The process of ritual self-initiation, complete annihilation of one's identity to rewrite it.
In the Jungian path you have to:
>achieve active imagination (or lucid dreaming) >confront all of your inner darkness (the shadow) via it >dissolve the shadow and the self in however many facets it takes to filter what is "real" and what is not >rebuild them into one self in its multiple aspects It's fundamentally the same as the Masonic path, but the rituals and processes are done "in your mind", rather than in real life, and done with whatever is already in your mind.
In the masonic path, you do real life rituals to affect the mind for either the same purpose, or for possession, depending on the rite.
That means stuff like, ritualistic deprivation of sleep, food, water. Taking all sorts of drugs. Being beaten, raped and tortured by others in order to form trauma. Torturing, raping or killing others in order to traumatize yourself.
That kind of thing does happen in your mind as you confront your shadow.
