I had a nagging thought in the back of my mind back in 2020 with all the BLM shit but mostly ignored it, but recently the Karmelo Anthony case and the black community's reaction to it has sort of (but not fully) lead me towards believing we are incapable of coexisting with these people. Israel's genocide on the Palestinians & the level of control (((they))) have over our media & politicians have lead me towards straight up antisemitism. Trans people are extremely annoying, mentally ill, and have made it much more frustrating to exist as a gay person (yes I'm a faggot).
Anyways, I'm kind of lost on what my ideology is right now and where to find communities that align with what I believe. When excavated, the Derveni Krater contained 1968.31 g of burnt bones that belonged to a man aged 35–50 and to a younger woman.
Technique and decoration The vase is composed of two leaves of metal which were hammered then joined, although the handles and the volutes (scrolls) were cast and attached. The main alloy used gives it a golden colour, but at various points the decoration is worked with different metals as overlays or inlays of silver, copper, bronze and other base metals. Such highlights include the silver garlands of vine and ivy around the krater, the silver and copper stripes on the vipers at the handles, and the silver orbs of the eyes of the volute masks.[4]
The top part of the krater is decorated with motifs both ornamental (gadroons, palm leaves, acanthus, garlands) and figurative: the top of the neck presents a frieze of animals and most of all, four statuettes (two maenads, Dionysus and a sleeping satyr) are casually seated on the shoulders of the vase, in a pose foreshadowing that of the Barberini Faun. For example: - What if the Roman Empire never fell? Would we have a unified global superstate by now, or would it have collapsed under its own weight eventually? - What if Napoleon won at Waterloo? Would Europe have become a French-dominated continent, or would his empire have crumbled anyway? - What if the Mongols had successfully invaded Japan? How would that have changed the balance of power in Asia? - What if the Library of Alexandria was never destroyed? How much further ahead would science and technology be today?

OP Roman scenario: Rome never had the chance to be a global superstate. There were other empires, whom she was in contact with too. The main rival ofc was the Persian empire - under whatever dynasty. And there was the Chinese further away. Two more regions that had considerable political structures. One was India (today's Pakistan and northern India) and another which connected all these regions (Europe, Persia, India, China) the steppe region with the steppe people who were always in some contact with each, always had impact on the formation of these polities. The other scenarios sounds rather interesting too, especially about the Alexandrian library. I rarely if ever seen ideas like this, usually it's the "What if the Axis won WWII" or "What if the Axis did X or Y, would that changed the course of the war?" To be honest makes me think if these scenarios were generated by ML.
My scenario: What if... Wars of Roses never happened? Inheritance of the English throne would have been smooth and never disputed. How that could change the course of history? Why this? The war had a major social impact on English society. It wiped out the aristocracy that allowed the way for the people in the lower strata to rise. If they could took initiative and had the talent and a knack for it. They were kinda "self-made men". This majorly influenced the entrepreneur mentality that paved the way of capitalism.
Short-term: - No Tudor dynasty → No Henry VIII’s break with Rome? England stays Catholic. - Old nobility stays powerful → less room for merchants/"self-made men" to rise. - Weaker central monarchy → feudal vibes linger longer.
Long-term: - Slower capitalism? No noble wipeout = less social mobility, delayed Industrial Revolution. - England stays a second-rate power? No Tudor navy → Spain/Dutch dominate colonies. - Maybe no British Empire as we know it.
Verdict: Roses’ chaos was brutal but forced England into modernity. No war = stable but stagnant, like Spain with bigger castles.
